Manchaca Falls

Manchaca Falls is one of the most popular swimming holes in Austin. About 25 feet high, with a swimming pool at the base of the falls. The falls are located in the Manchaca Springs State Natural Area, which is about a half-hour drive from downtown Austin.

Manchaca Springs is a hidden gem in the Austin area. This secluded spot is known for its clear, cool waters and lush vegetation. The springs are fed by the San Marcos River and are a popular spot for swimming, fishing, and picnicking. The springs have been around for centuries and are believed to have curative powers.

Held every Saturday from June to October. It is the only farmers market in South Austin.
